She married Wesley Whitney Stoddard 12 April 1940 in Lubec, Washington, ME. Wesley was born about 1915 in Abington, Plymouth, MA. Wesley is the son of Lucius Dexter Stoddard and Alice Coleman. He was a resident of Lubec at marriage. He was a basketball coach and high school teacher. They moved away from area. Lorene was a grade school teacher in Lubec and a basketbal coach. They moved from the Lubec area shortly after their marriage.

Lorene Rossmore Ramsdell and Wesley Whitney Stoddard had the following children:

1752 i. Marjorie¹² Stoddard was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 16 January 1941.

1753 ii. Kathryn Rae Stoddard was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 9 July 1949.
