348. Timothy⁷ Ramsdell (Ebenezer⁶, Nathaniel⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Isaac³, Isaac², John¹) was born in Lynn, Essex, MA 11 January 1785. Timothy died 28 May 1869 in Lubec, Washington, ME, at 84 years of age. His body was interred 1869 in Plot B168, W. Lubec Cem., Lubec, ME.

He married Sarah "Sally" Clark 26 November 1807 in Eastport, Washington, ME. Sarah was born 15 July 1792 in Eastport, Washington, ME. Sarah was the daughter of Joseph Clark Jr. and Elice. Sarah died 7 August 1857 in Lubec, Washington, ME, at 65 years of age. Her body was interred August 1857 in Plot B169, W. Lubec Cem., Lubec, ME. Timothy was a farmer at the time of the 1850 census.

Timothy Ramsdell and Sarah "Sally" Clark had the following children:

+ 542 i. Eliza M.⁸ Ramsdell was born 3 January 1809.

+ 543 ii. Elijah Ramsdell was born 1 November 1810.

+ 544 iii. Levi Ramsdell was born 8 March 1813.

545 iv. William Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 1824. William died 1 October 1854 in Cleveland, OH, at 30 years of age.

+ 546 v. Louisa Ramsdell was born 5 June 1825.

+ 547 vi. Benjamin Ramsdell was born 1828.

548 vii. John Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 13 April 1830. John was living at home in 1850. Nothing else is known of him.

549 viii. Welcome Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 15 August 1832. He was living at home in 1850. Before 1860 he left to join his cousin James Ramsdell in the Lumber Industry in Bay City, Michigan. He then removed to Cleveland, Ohio where his brother William had died.

550 ix. Melville Ramsdell was born in Lubec, Washington, ME 18 June 1839. Melville died after 1860. Melville was a fisherman. He was still living at home in 1860, but he was drafted for the Civil War 19 aug 1863. There is no indication that he ever fought.
