497. Harriet⁸ Ramsdell (John⁷, Zephaniah⁶, Abijah⁵, Jonathon⁴, Isaac³, Isaac², John¹) was born in Scituate, Providence, RI 18 March 1803. Harriet died 24 May 1884 in Cranston, Providence, RI, at 81 years of age.

She married Horace Battey 30 September 1824 in Scituate, Providence, RI. Horace was born 14 Aug 1793. Horace was the son of William Battey and Betsey. Horace died 9 Jun 1881 at 87 years of age. They resided in Scituate.

Harriet Ramsdell and Horace Battey had the following children:

853 i. Julia Ann⁹ Battey was born 16 Aug 1825.

854 ii. Alexander Raiford Battey was born 20 May 1827.

855 iii. Zephaniah Ramsdell Battey was born 27 Feb 1833.

856 iv. William Paul Battey was born 15 Apr 1836. William died 31 Jul 1838 at 2 years of age.
