He married twice. He married Parthena Crawford. Parthena was born 24 Mar 1817 in Saratoga, Saratoga, NY. Parthena was the daughter of John Crawford and Linda Alcott. Parthena died 2 Apr 1863 in Malta, NY, at 46 years of age. He married Mary Ann Crawford. Mary was born 9 Dec 1819. Mary was the daughter of John Crawford and Linda Alcott. Mary died 4 Jul 1873 at 53 years of age.

William Ramsdell and Parthena Crawford had the following children:

767 i. Augusta⁸ Ramsdell was born about 1838.

768 ii. Female Ramsdell was born about 1840. She married Daniel Eddy. Daniel was born about 1840.

769 iii. Linda M. Ramsdell was born 17 Jan 1842. Linda died 26 Oct 1844 at 2 years of age.
