23. Joseph³ Ramsdell (Isaac², John¹) was born in Lynn, Essex, MA 17 September 1683. Joseph died 8 March 1756 in Lynn, Essex, MA, at 72 years of age.

He married Debora Mansfield 21 October 1712 in Lynn, Essex, MA. Debora was born 21 April 1686 in Lynn, Essex, MA. Debora was the daughter of Joseph Mansfield and Elizabeth Williams. On 10 March 1711/1712, "it was desired to let John Ramsdell. James Mills, Joseph Ramsdell, and Jonathan Johnson, each of them have a bit of land to set a house upon" In a deed, dated 11 February 1716, Joseph Ramsdell, "husbandman" sold two acres and forty poles for three pounds, to Benjamin Potter, "a Tanner". On 9 March 1730, he sold land to Joshua Felt, a cooper, of Boston, for two pounds, ten shillings. Following his death , on 5 November 1757, his widow, Deborah, "released and surrendered unto my son, Silas Ramsdell, of Lynn, a joiner, all real estate, both buildings and lands of every denomination wheresoever situated and butted and bounded ... that my late husband, Joseph Ramsdell, possessed and I give up all my rights of dower power of thirds"

Joseph Ramsdell and Debora Mansfield had the following children:

+ 65 i. Joseph⁴ Ramsdell was born about 1704.

+ 66 ii. Silas Ramsdell was born 31 July 1713.
