699. John H.⁸ Ramsdell (Samuel⁷, George⁶, Jonathan⁵, Jonathan⁴, Jonathan³, Isaac², John¹) was born in Gray, Penobscot, ME 1818.

He married twice. He married Mary Flanders. Mary was born about 1818. Mary was the daughter of Jeremiah Flanders and Betsey. Mary died before 9 March 1848 in Penobscot Co, ME, at approximately 29 years of age. He married Ellen R. Hammond 25 April 1849. Ellen was born 1828.

John H. Ramsdell and Mary Flanders had the following children:

+ 1155 i. Henry A.⁹ Ramsdell was born 22 November 1844.

+ 1156 ii. Geoge Byron Ramsdell was born about 1848.

John H. Ramsdell and Ellen R. Hammond had the following children:

1157 iii. Mary E. Ramsdell was born in ME 1850. She married Danville S. Hathorn. Danville was born about 1850. Danville died September 1894 in Medford, NH, at 44 years of age.

1158 iv. Louise H. Ramsdell was born in ME about 1852. She married Milton D. Noyes. Milton was born about 1852.

1159 v. Emily Ramsdell was born in ME about 1855. She was a photographer in Bangor.

1160 vi. Elisha D. Ramsdell was born in ME about 1857. Elisha died before 1898.
