He married twice. He married Pearl Hagadorn 4 August 1910 in WA. Pearl was born 23 January 1889 in Fergus Falls, MN. Pearl died 19 November 1960 in Seattle, WA, at 71 years of age. He married Ann E. Barker 8 June 1931. Ann was born 16 May 1912 in Conconully, WA.

Earl Richard Benson and Pearl Hagadorn had the following children:

1631 i. Roy Richard¹¹ Benson was born in Conconully, WA 22 June 1911. Roy died 16 September 1936 in Seattle, WA, at 25 years of age. He married Florence Zarn 16 May 1936 in Seattle, WA.

+ 1632 ii. Ray August Benson was born 5 May 1913.

1633 iii. Cecial Earl Benson was born in Wenatchee, WA 28 September 1914. Cecial died 18 December 1914 in Wenatchee, WA, at less than one year of age.

+ 1634 iv. Rexford Cecil Benson was born 2 October 1915.

+ 1635 v. Hazel Dorothy Benson was born 2 August 1917.

1636 vi. Arthur Herbert Benson was born in Spokane, WA 25 March 1919.

+ 1637 vii. Helen Augusta Benson was born 19 February 1921.

+ 1638 viii. Alvin Wiltsie Benson was born 16 March 1923.

Earl Richard Benson and Ann E. Barker had the following child:
