She married Dale E. Cooley 2 June 1940 in Lewiston, Idaho. Dale was born 20 July 1915 in Belgrade, NB.

Marjorie Elsie Benson and Dale E. Cooley had the following children:

+ 1991 i. Carol Lee¹² Cooley was born 6 January 1943.

1992 ii. Sherry Kay Cooley was born in Crofino, Idaho 22 May 1944. She married Dale J. Schott 31 August 1963 in Pullman, WA. Dale was born 28 June 1938 in Great Falls, MT.
