321. Amasa⁷ Fitts (Sarah⁶ Ramsdell, John⁵, Gideon⁴, Thomas³, Daniel², Joseph¹) was born in Wardsboro, Windham, VT 23 July 1800. Amasa died 15 January 1883 in South Wardsboro, Windham, VT, at 82 years of age.

He married twice. He married Eliza Ward 25 April 1825. Eliza was born December 1802 in Wardsboro, Windham, VT. Eliza died 17 May 1875 in South Wardsboro, Windham, VT, at 72 years of age. He married Maria Ward After 1875 in Wardsboro, Windham, VT. Maria was born 9 August 1811 in Wardsboro, Windham, VT. Maria died 19 February 1883 in Wardsboro, Windham, VT, at 71 years of age.

Amasa Fitts and Eliza Ward had the following children:

+ 585 v. Mary Eliza Fitts was born 26 January 1835.

+ 586 vi. Elmer Fitts was born 22 July 1838.

+ 587 vii. Emily Sarah Fitts was born 30 July 1840.

588 viii. Oscar Amasa Fitts was born in S. Wardsboro, Windham, VT 9 September 1843. Oscar died January 1888 in San Francisco, San Francisco, CA, at 44 years of age.

589 ix. Frederick F. Fitts was born in S. Wardsboro, Windham, VT 6 June 1847. Frederick died 1 June 1855 in Wardsboro, Windham, VT, at 7 years of age.
