668. David S.⁸ Ramsdell (Philemon W.⁷, David⁶, Samuel⁵, Samuel⁴, Samuel³, Daniel², Joseph¹) was born in Barnstable, Yarmouth, MA 19 May 1860. David died 3 May 1918 in Worcester, Worcester, MA, at 57 years of age. David died of throat cancer.

He married Georgianna Varney 13 January 1881 in Worcester, Worcester, MA. Georgianna died 10 January 1936 in Worcester, Worcester, MA. David was evidently raised by his mother, is first listed as a machinist in his marriage record. David and Georgianna's obituaries can be found in the Worcester Telegram of 3 May 1918 and 10 January 1936. When david died, they were living at 27 Wyman Street in Worcester and he was listed as a "Stationary Engineer" (Power plants for buildings) They and all their children (except Tessie) are buried at Hope Cemetery in Worcester.

David S. Ramsdell and Georgianna Varney had the following children:

867 ii. Harry D. Ramsdell was born in Worcester, Worcester, MA 1887. Harry died 11 August 1964 in Worcester, Worcester, MA, at 77 years of age. He married Jessie Starboard. Harry worked as a clerk at Brewer & Co. for 30 years.

+ 868 iii. Laura Ramsdell was born 1890.

869 iv. Carl E. Ramsdell was born in Worcester, Worcester, MA 1895. Carl died 23 January 1970 in Saco, ME, at 74 years of age. He married Ella M. Kendall.

870 v. Georgie (Tessie) Ramsdell was born in Worcester, Worcester, MA About 1897. She married Earnest D. Tetlow. They lived in Providence, Rhode Island in 1918 and later moved to Daytona Beach, Florida.
