He married twice. He married Hannah B. Dewey 23 June 1866 in Dickinson Center, Franklin, NY. Hannah was born 7 May 1844. Hannah was the daughter of Asahel Dewey. Hannah died April 1868 in Dickinson Center, Franklin, NY, at 23 years of age. He married Eliza C. Dewey 21 July 1868 in Dickinson Center, Franklin, NY. Eliza was born 5 March 1840 in Vermont. Eliza was the daughter of Asahel Dewey. Eliza died 1922 at 82 years of age.

802 v. Asahel R. Ramsdell was born in Dickinson Center, Franklin, NY 1 January 1874. Asahel died 30 December 1885 in Dickinson Center, Franklin, NY, at 11 years of age.

803 vi. Eva H. Ramsdell was born in Dickinson Center, Franklin, NY 3 May 1876.
