186. Levi⁶ Ramsdell (Samuel⁵, Samuel⁴, Samuel³, Daniel², Joseph¹) was born in Pembroke, Plymouth, MA 30 December 1779.

He married Amy Dunbar 20 June 1801 in Bridgewater, Plymouth, MA. In the Bridgewater VR's, Levi is noted as being from Milton. Levi was recorded as a shoemaker in various records. He and Amy moved from Pembroke to Hanson after the death of their son Silas in 1818.

Levi Ramsdell and Amy Dunbar had the following children:

420 i. Betsey⁷ Ramsdell was born in Pembroke, Plymouth, MA 24 September 1801.

+ 421 ii. Nathaniel Ramsdell was born 4 September 1804.

422 iii. Mary Ramsdell was born in Pembroke, Plymouth, MA 23 October 1806.

423 iv. Dorothy B. Ramsdell was born in Pembroke, Plymouth, MA 18 December 1808. Dorothy died 6 November 1813 in Pembroke, Plymouth, MA, at 4 years of age.

424 v. Levi Ramsdell was born in Pembroke, Plymouth, MA 24 March 1811. He married Nancy Cox 2 March 1831 in Hanson, Plymouth, MA.

+ 425 vi. Elbridge G. Ramsdell was born 3 May 1813.

426 vii. Silas Ramsdell was born in Pembroke, Plymouth, MA 15 March 1818. Silas died 12 July 1818 in Pembroke, Plymouth, MA, at less than one year of age.

427 viii. Dorothy Bishop Ramsdell was born in Hanson, Plymouth, MA 24 November 1819.

428 ix. Isaac Ramsdell was born in Hanson, Plymouth, MA 1 August 1822.
