For a number of years she has been sadly afflicted with a scrofulous sore on her right limb above the ankle, and though a great sufferer, was always patient, and thoughtful for every one. For two years she has not been able to walk, being wheeled about in a chair, and was only confined to her bed three days before her death. She died at the residence of her daughter. Mrs. J.D. Marsh, from whence the funeral obsequies occurred. The pall bearers were John Coffman, M.C. Goldthwait, James Churchill, E.B. Rasey.
