He married Betty Tirrell 23 January 1783 in E. Bridgewater, Plymouth, MA. Charles was listed as being from Pembroke in his marriage entry in the East Bridgewater vital records Pembroke VR's give their marriage date as 28 January 1788.

Charles Ramsdell and Betty Tirrell had the following children:

231 i. Serajah⁶ Ramsdell was born in Pembroke, Plymouth, MA 1785. She was baptized 17 July 1785 in Pembroke, Plymouth, MA.

232 ii. Salome Ramsdell was born in Pembroke, Plymouth, MA 2 Novemberr 1788. She married Isaiah Wilder Jr. 19 March 1809 in Pembroke, Plymouth, MA. Isaiah was listed as being from Hingham in his marriage record in the Pembroke vital records.

233 iii. Betsey Ramsdell was born in Pembroke, Plymouth, MA 1 October 1791.

234 iv. Betty Ramsdell was born in Pembroke, Plymouth, MA 1792. She was baptized 1 July 1792 in Pembroke, Plymouth, MA.
