49. Avis⁵ Ramsdell (Joseph⁴, Thomas³, Daniel², Joseph¹) was born in Hanover, Plymouth, MA 18 March 1741. Avis died 19 March 1831 in Hanover, Plymouth, MA, at 90 years of age.

She married Joshua Dwelley 24 December 1761 in Hanover, Plymouth, MA. Joshua was born 20 July 1735 in Norwell, Plymouth, MA. Joshua was the son of Jedediah Dwelley and Elizabeth House. Joshua died 15 March 1787 in Hanover, Plymouth, MA, at 51 years of age. Joshua resided at Hanover, first on Hanover street, on Woodward Hill, and then on corner of Main and Union streets. He served in the Revolution.

Avis Ramsdell and Joshua Dwelley had the following children:

108 i. Deborah⁶ Dwelley was born in Hanover, Plymouth, MA 18 October 1762. She married Asa Whiting 13 April 1786.

+ 109 ii. Lemuel Dwelley was born 7 November 1764.

+ 110 iii. Joshua Dwelley was born 13 December 1766.

111 iv. Jedediah Dwelley was born in Hanover, Plymouth, MA 26 November 1768. Jedediah died 21 Nov 1786 at 17 years of age.

112 v. Avis Dwelley was born in Hanover, Plymouth, MA 21 November 1770. Avis died 26 Aug 1786 at 15 years of age.

113 vi. Joseph Dwelley was born in Hanover, Plymouth, MA 2 November 1772. Joseph removed to Maine.

114 vii. Lucy Dwelley was born in Hanover, Plymouth, MA 18 September 1775. She married Seth Rose.

115 viii. Priscilla Dwelley was born in Hanover, Plymouth, MA 20 May 1780. She married Joshua Stetson.
