8. Mary Ann⁶ Naylor (Joseph⁵, Charles⁴, James³, Joseph², George¹) was born in Horsforth, Yorkshire, England 22 May 1850. Mary died 20 December 1916 at 66 years of age. She married Joseph Alfred Musgrave Bretherick 16 April 1870 at St. Peter, Hunslet Moor, Yorkshire, England. Joseph was born in Bramley, Yorkshire, England in July 1849 to George Bretherick and Sophia Musgrave. They immigrated to the United States in 1886. Joseph was employed as a shipping clerk in the 1900 Census in Holyoke, MA. Joseph died 14 December 1923 at approximately 74 years of age. Joseph and Mary are buried Lot 76-Section N, Forestdale Cemetery, Holyoke, MA.

Mary Ann Naylor and Joseph Alfred Musgrave Bretherick had the following children:

• 18 i. John Willie Bretherick was born in Hunslet, Yorkshire, England 2 September 1870. John died 21 June 1884 in Mount Tom, MA, at 13 years of age in a drowning accident. His body was interred in Lot 319, Forestdale Cemetery, Holyoke, MA.

• 19 ii. Albert Percy Bretherick was born in Saltaire, Yorkshire, England 23 February 1873. He married Dorathy Flucker Newlands Birney on 26 April 1905 in Springfield, MA. Dora was the daughter of Andrew and Robina (Mason) Bernie who were married 15 July 1872 in Springburn, Lanarkshire, Scotland and who emigrated to Massachusetts in 1885. Dora was born 21 October 1873 in Cadder, Lanarkshire, Scotland. They lived at 195 Brown Ave in Springfiend, MA. Albert died 18 June 1907 at 34 years of age. His body was interred in Lot 119, Forestdale Cemetery, Holyoke, MA. He was a finisher in the Whiting No. 2 Mill.

• + 20 iii. Margaret⁷ Bretherick was born in Saltaire, Yorkshire, England 19 Feb 1875. She was baptized 28 Mar 1875 at St Paul, Shipley, Yorkshire, England.
