This is what I had at the time for George Lewis: GEORGE LEWIS, Immigrated Before 1633 From Kent, England In 1634 he was given permission to leave his church in Plymouth to join the Lathropp Group in Scituate. He may have been part of that group in England, however there is no record that he was imprisoned with the group before emigrating to America. George was a clothier by occupation (a cloth maker or clothes maker). Most of this I found in Savage "Early Settlers of New England" GEORGE, Plymouth, and Scituate, where he join. the ch. 20 Sept. 1635, a clothier, was from East Greenwich, in Kent, bef. 1633, and rem. to Barnstable bef. 1641, had in Eng. m. Sarah Jenkins, by her had sev. ch. b. there, as Mary, wh. m. 14 Nov. 1643, John Bryant; prob. George; and Thomas; perhaps Edward; Jabez, wh. d. unm.; and James, but at S. had John, b. 2, bapt. 11 Mar. 1638; and at B. had Ephraim, 23, bapt. 25 July 1641; and Sarah, 2, bapt. 11 Feb. 1644; but we know not the date of his d. yet it was prob. aft. 1663, for his will was brot. forward 3 Mar. 1664. It names w. Mary, s. Ephraim, George, Thomas, James, Edward, John, and d. Sarah. John was k. by the Ind. unm. 26 Mar. 1676, under capt. Pierce. His d. Mary, wh. Had m. 14 Nov. 1643 John Bryant of Scituate, and had seven ch. was d. seven yrs. bef. her f.; and Sarah m. 26 Dec. 1663, James Cobb, and, [[86]] next, 23 Nov. 1698, Jonathan Sparrow. He had, in 1658, with Richard Foxwell, purchas. lds. at Scarborough, but both soon came back. GEORGE, Barnstable, 8. of the preced. b. in Eng. prob. m. Dec. 1654, Mary, d. of Bernard Lumbard, had George, b. 4780 i. George¹² Lewis was born in Of E. Greenwich, Kent, England 1625. George died 20 March 1709 in Barnstable, Barnstable, MA, at 83 years of age. He married Mary Lombard 1 December 1654 in Barnstable, Barnstable, Massachusetts.

4781 ii. Mary Lewis was born in Scituate, Plymouth, MA 16 November 1629. Mary died 2 July 1655 in Scituate, Plymouth, MA, at 25 years of age. Her body was interred 2 July 1655. She married John Bryant 14 November 1643 in Scituate, Plymouth, Massachusetts.

4782 iii. Thomas Lewis was born in Of E. Greenwich, Kent, England 5 January 1630. Thomas died 18 May 1709 in Falmouth, MA, at 79 years of age. His body was interred 1709 in Falmouth, MA. He married Mary Davis 15 June 1653 in Barnstable, Mass. Mary was born 1631 in Horsemonden, Kent, England. Mary was the daughter of Dolar Davis and Margery Willard. Mary died 1687 in MA, at 56 years of age.

4783 v. Jabez Lewis was born in Brenchley, Kent, England 1634. Jabez died June 1675 at 40 years of age. He married Mary Jones.

4784 vi. John Lewis was born in Scituate, Plymouth, MA 2 March 1637. John died 26 March 1676 in Rehoboth, Bristol, MA, at 39 years of age. He married Margaret in Scituate, Plymouth, Massachusetts.

4785 vii. Edward Lewis was born in Scituate, Plymouth, MA 9 May 1640. Edward died 28 March 1703 in Barnstable, Barnstable, MA, at 62 years of age. He married Hannah Cobb 9 May 1661 in Barnstable, Barnstable, Massachusetts.

4786 viii. Ephraim Lewis was born in Scituate, Plymouth, MA 23 July 1641. Ephraim died 1670 at 28 years of age.

4787 ix. Sarah Lewis was born in Barnstable, Barnstable, MA 2 February 1643. Sarah died 16 February 1735 in Barnstable, Barnstable, MA, at 92 years of age. She married James Cobb 26 December 1663. She married Jonathan Sparrow 23 November 1697.

4788 x. Nathaniel Lewis was born in Barnstable, Barnstable, MA 1645. Nathaniel died 13 October 1683 at 38 years of age.

4789 xi. Joseph Lewis was born in Watertown, Middlesex, MA 1647. Joseph died 24 June 1675 in Swansea, Bristol, MA, at 27 years of age. His body was interred 24 June 1671.

4790 xii. Jabez Lewis was born in Barnstable, Barnstable, MA about 1648.
