He married Mary (Polly) Blanchard 21 January 1833 in Chesterfield, Cheshire, NH. Mary was born 6 April 1807 in NH. Mary was the daughter of Benjamin Blanchard and Miriam. Mary died 10 October 1886 in Chesterfield, Cheshire, NH, at 79 years of age.

224 iii. Louisa E. Hildreth was born in Chesterfield, Cheshire, NH 21 April 1823. Louisa died in Tarrytown, NY. She married Henry Freeland. Henry was born about 1820 in New York, NY. Henry died in Tarrytown, NY.

225 iv. Henry S. Hildreth was born in Chesterfield, Cheshire, NH 4 March 1826. He married Carrie E. Pettee 1 June 1848 in Chesterfield, Cheshire, NH. Carrie was born about 1827. Carrie was the daughter of Stafford H. Pettee.

226 v. Lotan B. Hildreth was born in Chesterfield, Cheshire, NH 24 February 1829. Lotan died in New York, NY.

229 viii. Elathine A. Hildreth was born in Chesterfield, Cheshire, NH 23 September 1840. She married Andrew Blakely. Andrew was born about 1840 in New York, NY.
