100. Herbert Morris⁶ Wood (Isreal⁷, Jebez⁸, Jebez⁹, Jebez¹⁰, David¹¹, Henry¹², John (Johannes)¹³ , Nicholas¹⁴ Atwood) was born in Brattleboro, Windham, VT 5 July 1856. Herbert died 4 December 1932 in Brattleboro, Windham, VT, at 76 years of age.

He married Cora Ellen Wilder 4 November 1878 in Putney, Windham, VT. Cora was born 20 June 1860 in Putney, Windham, VT and was the daughter of Emery Augustus Wilder and Harriet Maria Pierce. Cora died 18 June 1921 in Brattleboro, Windham, VT, at 60 years of age.

Herbert Morris Wood and Cora Ellen Wilder had the following children:

+ 44 i. Herbert Augustus⁵ Wood was born 17 August 1880.

101 ii. Carroll Arthur Wood was born in Brattleboro, Windham, VT 3 August 1885. He married Alice H. (Atwood) Rowell 29 Jan 1918. Alice was born 5 Jan 1874 in Massachusetts. Carroll and Alice left Brattleboro in 1937 and moved to St Petersburg, FL for a short time (1938 to 1943), and then moved to Amesbury, MA where they resided at 125 Main Street. Carroll's occupation was listed as "Candy Manufacturer" in the town directory. Alice was the daughter of Jacob A Rowell, Carriage Mfg, and Alice W Fielden, both of Amesbury, MA. Alice died 10 Aug 1961 in Amesbury, Mass. Carroll died 25 Sep 1965 in Amesbury, MA.
