Introduction

This site is a record of starting with my daughter and delving 14 generations into history. My maternal grandfather's family came with the Pilgrims and spread through Massachusetts and New Hampshire as did my wife's family with many going to Maine. My father's family came to Connecticut and founded Hartford, Fairfield, Waterbury and other towns and stayed there to this day. This genealogy is an ever-growing work which you are always welcome to add to or correct - It will never be published or submitted for higher criticism, but will remain the biography of a New England family for future generations to enjoy.

I do not have any families outside of New England and do not have any more information than what you find on my site with the exception of the following names: Ramsdell, Beach, Naylor, McGlauflin, Wood, Openshaw, Andrews, Henschke, Pierce, and Hubbard. I am aware of some problems with the early generations in this report, including multiple marriages and multiple children. This is the result of downloading from the Ancestor File at an LDS library back in my early exploits and merging GEDCOM files without checking them first. Please let me know when you come across obvious errors so that I can fix them. If limited social skills prevent you from writing a polite letter to alert me of problems, please just keep it to yourself. Mistakes are not a personal insult directed at you, but rather a choice that I made to display work in progress rather than waiting until I achieve perfection. The bulk of email that I receive is very warm and courteous, but a few bad apples have brought me to the brink of removing my entire site. Please enjoy this material for what it is and I truly hope that you enjoy discovering your ancestors as much as I have.

- Ross
